OUR
STORY
“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.” T.S. Eliot
Adventure is in our blood. I did not grow up in front of a TV. My mom insisted on spending as much time outdoors as possible. We were free to explore and create our own experiences. This freedom bore an adventurous spirit within me that I have passed down to my son, Ocean.

While our business is to build boards and guide tours on the water, we insist on taking time to experience life ourselves. Business will be put on hold so that I can share the river experience with Ocean.

OUR TEAM
Clinton Johnson
Owner and Chief Executive Officer Clinton Johnson began his river expeditions in 2009 with his first trip canoeing down the Mississippi. Shortly after that trip, Clinton moved to the Florida Keys and started a SUP business renting boards and guiding tours through the mangroves of Key West. When his son Ocean expressed the desire to live with him, Clinton sold everything and moved to Yuma, AZ to fulfill his son's wishes. But he didn't give up on his SUP business. Clinton spent some time in Moab, Utah guiding SUP trips down the Colorado River and, after learning some woodworking from his dad, Brad Johnson, Clinton began building custom SUP boards in his shop at home in Yuma. Clinton has become an artisan when it comes to building custom boards, making each unique piece to fit its owner in every way. He is also an experienced guide and will take you to whatever level you want to reach - from a relaxing float to raging rapids, Clinton will make sure you have the experience of a lifetime!
Ocean Johnson
Chief Technical Editor Ocean recently graduated from high school and has aspirations of being a composer, writer, videographer, and musician. But following in his father's footsteps, Ocean also has a passion for adventure. While his dad, Clinton, paddles his SUP down the Missouri River, Ocean will follow in a canoe and will be documenting the entire trip. At the conclusion, Ocean will be working with his dad in his shop building boards and guiding tours.
